As part of a £103 million project to refurbish the main tunnel at Heathrow Airport, Greengate metal Components provided a comprehensive range of precision stainless steel fabrication.

Measuring a total of 2,520 meters and a height of 4.3 meters, Greengate Metal Components supplied tens of thousands of lengths of U channel (up to 4 meters long), header flashings, top hat sections, bespoke pattresses, bracketry and shims in 316 Stainless Steel. All of the components supplied by Greengate Metal Components are used as part of the fire protection system for the main tunnels and side bores.
