As part of a £103 million project to refurbish the main tunnel at Heathrow Airport, Greengate Metal Components supplied a comprehensive range of stainless steel fabrications.
Measuring 2,520m in length and 4.3m in height, the project involved the delivery of U channels, header flashings, top hat sections, pattresses, bracketry, and shims in 316 stainless steel. All components were used in the fire protection system for the main tunnels and side bores.
